POSITION: Senior Accounts Executives/Accounts Executives
JOY TYPE: Permanent
SALARY: NRS30,000 to NRS60,000 per monthdepending upon experience and qualification (fast progression opportunity to the right candidate)
REPORTING TO: Managers in the UK Office
LIAISING WITH: Partners, Managers and other employees of the UK Office
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Full responsibility of preparation of statutory financial statements including tax computation and working papers under UK GAAP.
DUTIES:
• Work as outsourced accountant of a client which involves maintaining debtors and creditors ledger, bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments and bringing accounts up to Trial Balance (various recognised UK software will be used for this)
• Preparation of the financial statements under UK GAAP and other accounting frameworks including preparation of detailed schedules as per UK office standards
• Preparation of corporation tax computation and tax return for submission to UK tax authority
• Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
• Assisting UK managers on performing audits of UK companies
• Co-ordinate with managers and assist on planning, assigning and allocating of assignments
• Performing other ad-hoc duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
• Chartered Accountant from ICAN/ICAI or ACCA or equivalent. We will consider semi-qualifiedif the candidate has proven track record of related experience
• Excellent ability to learn and attention to detail
• Fluent in verbal and written English
• Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience as an accountant or as an auditor in reputable firm
• Excellent IT skills (excellent Excel skills is preferable)
• Good academic grades are preferable
