Vacancy for CAs or Semi Qualified for UK based firm

A rapidly growing accountancy firm in based in the city of London (UK)urgently requires accountants for its office in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal.There are plenty of opportunities of career progression due to rapid growth of the firm.

POSITION: Senior Associates/Associates

SALARY:Highly competitive (rapid career progression opportunity to the right candidate)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Financial reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS, tax reporting, working papers, outsourced finance function, management reporting, VAT returns, payroll, company secretarial andfinancial analysis.

DUTIES:
• Work as financial and management accountant for a client which involves maintaining debtors and creditors ledger, bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments and bringing accounts up to trial balance (various recognised UK software will be used for this)

• Preparation of the financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS including preparation of detailed working papers
• Preparation of corporation tax computation and tax return for submission to UK tax authority
• Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
• Assisting UK managers on performing audits of UK companies
• Running and filing payroll including related tax planning
• Performing company secretarial duties and associated company law compliance work
• Preparing individual tax returns and related tax planning
• Performing other ad-hoc duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:
• Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants(OR Semi-qualified CA with only one group remaining). We are looking for CA with less than one year of post qualification experience.
• Desirable skills:Excellent Excel Skills
