भारतको एक बिश्वविद्यालयले सिएको ब्याचलर र मास्टर्स लेभल पढाउने भन्ने बारेमा आईसीएआईका एक्टिङ सेक्रेटरी भी सागरले एक बिज्ञप्ति जारी गर्दै आपति जनाएका छन्। उनले बिश्व बिद्यालयले बहने जस्तो कोर्ष संचालनको अनुमति बिश्व बिद्यालय लाई नभएको बताउंदै यस खाले बिज्ञप्ति दिनुभएको छ :
Programmes offered by OPJS University, Churu.
It has been brought to our notice that OPJS University, Churu (Rajasthan), is offering/conducting certain programmes/courses under the nomenclature “Master in C.A.” and “Bachelor in C.A.” (under the School of Chartered Accountant). Conduct of such courses under the said nomenclature are in contravention of various provisions of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (CA Act) and various other laws. It is stated that the ICAIis seized of the said matter and appropriate action against the OPJS University, in accordance with the law, has been initiated.In this connection, it is relevant to mentionthat the ICAI is the only body set up by an Act of the Parliament, viz. The Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, to regulate the profession of Chartered Accountants in India and no person/body other than the Institute can perform the functions entrusted to the ICAI under the said Act. The use of the expression “Chartered Accountant” or its abbreviation “C.A.” by a person other than the member of the ICAI is a punishable offence under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. Further, it may be mentioned that awarding any degree, diploma or certificate or bestowingof any designation which indicate or purports to indicate the position or attainment of any qualification or competence similar to that of a member of the ICAI is also punishable offence under the CA Act.

धेरैलाई थाहा भएको कुरा हो , सिए कोर्षमा ब्याचलर वा मास्टर्स लेभल भन्ने हुँदैन। न त सिए कोर्ष कुनै विश्वबिद्यालयमा नै पढाई हुन्छ। तर यस तथ्यको बर्खिलाप गर्दै भारतको एक बिश्व बिद्यालयले आफुले सिएको ब्याचलर लेभल र मास्टर्स लेभलको पढाइ गराउने दावी गरेको छ। भारतमा आईसिएआईको विधान अनुसार आईसीएआई बाहेक कुनै पनि संस्था वा विश्वबिद्यालयले सिएको कोर्ष पढाएर त्यस सम्बन्धि सर्टिफिकेट दिन पाउंदैन। तर भारतको ओपीजेएस विश्वबिद्यालय भने सिएको पढाइ ब्याचलर र मास्टर्स लेभल को पढाई आफ्नो विश्वबिद्यालयमा हुने दावी गरेको छ। विश्वबिद्यालयले आफु मातहतको स्कुल अफ चार्टड एकाउन्टेन्ट्स मार्फत सिएको ब्याचलर र मास्टर्स लेभलको पढाई हुने जनाएको छ। विश्वबिद्यालयले आफ्नो वेब साइटमा सिएको ब्याचलर र मास्टर्स लेभल सम्बन्धि विभिन्न जानकारी राखेको छ।
